"Minneapolis Residents Warned of Asbestos Dangers"

Letters were sent to hundreds of current and former Minneapolis residents from health official warning that they may have been exposed to dangerous levels of asbestos years ago. Due to the latency period between asbestos exposure and the onset of asbestos-related diseases, the letter warned the asbestos- dangers could still appear if not already. The asbestos accumulation could occur in instances of cancer, asbestosis, mesothelioma, and other lung abnormalities. The asbestos exposure could have occurred from the former W.R. Grace & Co. plant.
